Dale Studios Ltd are a super busy, established and still growing graphic design, print and installation studio offering a vast range of services and solutions personalized to suit the individual needs of our clients, with a variety of skills and in-house equipment. We have steadily grown over 35 years to become the crack team of designers, managers and technicians that we are today. Supplying some of the biggest names in retail, cosmetics and sporting goods both nationally and internationally, every day at Dale Studios is a fresh challenge to be tackled.

The studio.

We are now looking to recruit a highly organised and effective Accounts Administrator to support our team as our company continues to grow. We envisage that you will work in a flexible manner with our other team members and support our finance controller. Confidence, enthusiasm and drive are essential as is the ability to work using your own initiative.

We are looking for an individual with the following skills and attributes:

Job Type: Full-time

The essentials

Key Accountabilities may include:

– Sales invoicing using job management software

– Integrating invoices into Sage Accounts Line 50 using various templates

– Issuing monthly client statements

– Controlling credit and chasing debt

– Ensuring monthly invoicing key deadlines are met

– General administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying and scanning.

– Requesting purchase orders from our customers and chasing as required

– Assisting with courier bookings for deliveries both in the UK and International

– Managing petty cash transactions

Character

– IT literate including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

– Previous accounts assistant experience would be desirable with an aptitude for figures

– Knowledge of job management systems desirable

– Experience using Sage Line 50 preferred but not essential as training will be given

– Good understanding of purchase and sales ledgers

– Good telephone call handling skills

– Ability to communicate effectively with staff and visitors

– Be organised and punctual

– Act with integrity, showing respect and fairness

– Be able to work collaboratively and individually
